smARTS
Next Sunday after church! For more information and online s
ign up, click here.Learn how to screen print your own created image onto a t-shirt, tote bag, fabric, etc. We will take you through the whole process from beginning to end.
You’ll learn how to:
- Create an image for screen printing
- Apply photo-sensitive emulsion to a screen
- Develop your image onto the screen
- And, how to print from the screen
The cost for the course is $20, which contains all the supplies you’ll need to create ONE SCREEN ready for printing. If you’re coming with a friend or family member, and you only want to do one screen between the two of you, then the cost is $20. If you want to make two images for printing, the cost will be $40.
You will need to provide the items (t-shirt, tote-bag...) that you will be printing on.
By the end of the October 21st meeting you’ll have an image and be ready to transfer that image onto the screen. You’ll need another session (included in the cost) to finish and print.
smARTS is the faith-and-the-arts group at St. Mark’s Episcopal Church. We’re a friendly guild of artists who seek to immerse ourselves in the creative wonder of God. We learn and explore different artistic mediums, and we lean on the wisdom that is already within our gather.
All ages welcome. Families welcome. Friends welcome.

Please take a moment to look at the new art installation in Bryan's Room courtesy of Andrea. It’s a special print edition giclee on canvas of her painting “The Tree Of Dreams”, which was inspired by the Roald Dahl story The BFG. She has gifted it to St. Mark's in appreciation for supporting her artistic endeavors. Thank you, Andrea.
