It is about this time of year that I begin missing the sun. Seeing peeks through the clouds gives me a quick burst of energy. My blinds stay open and I actively chase the sunlight by moving my chair or work area to stay in the sunbeams. Even when the temperature is chilly, I will choose to bundle up and take a brisk walk.
Ecclesiastes 11:7
“The light is pleasant, and it is good for the eyes to see the sun.”
As much as I enjoy the sunlight, it takes clouds and darkness to help me appreciate and value the light. It's an opportunity to practice my waiting and build on the hope for sunny skies again.
