Monday, January 1st is the Solemnity of the Virgin Mary, Mother of God. Masses will be at midnight, Dec 31st or 9am on January 1st. It is not a Holy Day of Obligation this year as it falls on a Monday.

Financial Gifts to Holy Cross
As we near the end of this year and contemplate year-end gifts to our Parish, we want to remind you of the tax benefits to you and your family for financial gifts made directly from your financial institutions to Holy Cross.
If you are 70 and a half or older, you can take advantage of the now-permanent IRA Charitable Rollover. Gifts made through the IRA Charitable Rollover count toward your annual Required Minimum Distribution and are not included in your adjusted gross income.
Please consult your financial advisor and know of our sincere gratitude for your generosity.

are at 4pm and 10pm on Christmas Eve and 10am on Christmas Day.
2021 Jesse Tree Ministry
Elves Delivered! This past week Jesse Tree gifts, food, and even stockings for the younger children, were distributed to 77 households in our area. Families came from our parish community, as well as those referred to us by Interfaith Outreach Association, Lynchburg Social Services, Miriam’s House and McGurk House.
Thanks: Many thanks to all those who made the 2021 Jesse Tree Ministry a success!
We will resume distributing the monthly bags in the Commons the first weekend in February.
