Dear brothers and sisters,
Well, this morning it looks like we are in for our first major storm in some time and it is forecast to arrive on Sunday morning!!!
This email is to remind you that, while we will still be celebrated Mass at the usual times, you should stay home if it is too dangerous to drive. Remember, if it is dangerous to drive to Church, there is no obligation to attend Mass. Church law never requires you to risk getting into an accident.
I would, therefore, encourage you to come to the 4:00pm Mass on Saturday, if at all possible. We have scheduled additional ministers. If you can’t get here on Saturday, Mass will be live streamed on Facebook at 11:15 on Sunday. I’d be grateful if you could send in your envelopes sometime during the week…we depend on your support to keep on the lights and heat (and pay for the snow plowing!!!)
Most of all, I wanted you to know that Father Paul and I will be praying for your safety during the storm. I hope God turns your yard into a winter wonderland and that you remain snug and secure for the course of the storm.
In the Lord,
Monsignor Moroney
