Our second graders were very polite and got along great during our Fire Safety day last week. We really are lucky to have such a great fire department! They have inspired many of our students over the years and it is always a lot of fun.

We are starting chapter 3 in our math series and will cover doubles facts, fact fluency, different ways to make a sum of 10, and adding 3 addends.
Our story this week is titled "Super Storms." We will find main ideas and the supporting details, and we'll identify compound words and verbs.
