Dear Teens & Parents,
As mentioned at the Parent Night in September, this coming Sunday, October 21st, we'll be having a very special Life Night. Our night's theme is "A Time Such as This." As we have all witnessed our beloved, global Catholic Church rocked by a new wave of uncovered corruption and allegations of abuse by clergy, which has, no doubt, created scandal in the Body of Christ... how do we move forward? Did you know YOU were made for a time such as this? The night will focus on how we, as teens, parents, and families, are called to be bearers of light! The evening promises not to dwell too much on the details of what has happened, but rather the path forward and the call for each of us to find our Way, Truth, and Life in Christ. YOU were made for a time such as this-- you are called to rise and become the saints the Church of today needs.
As we hold this special issue Life Night, we invite and encourage parents to come and join teens this Sunday from 6:20-8:20p. We'll be in the main Parish Hall in the main building this Sunday night to accommodate the larger group. Join us for usual dinner time (taco bowls!) and a great Life Night as we look at how we, the Church, rise from the ashes by being the saints we are called to be!

Who? All High School Teens in Grades 9-12
When? Sunday, November 4th, 3:30-9pm (will include Sunday Mass)
(Note: There is NO Life Night at St. Mike's this evening!

3:30p - Gather at St. Mike's Lake House
3:45p - Depart St. Mike's via small school buses & Core Team carpool
5:00p - Attend Sunday Mass at St. Bede
6:00p - Pizza Dinner & Social/Games with lots of high school teens!
7:00p - Talk by Sean Forrest
8:00p - Leave St. Bede
9:00p - Arrive back at St. Mike's Lake House

Tuesday Mornings Before School | 7-8:15a in the Youth Center
Tolle Lege ("Take Up and Read") Mornings are opening to all high school teens who desire to learn and discuss a little more theology and philosophy on a deeper, "college prep" level. Teens considering joining this group should be attending Sunday Life Nights with regularity and find themselves asking bigger questions and hungering for more in matters of the faith. This is NOT a morning substitute for Life Nights, but rather something that is more "201 level." Meetings will take place on each Tuesday that is also a school day. Learn more & sign up:
