Resurrection has a few ministries in need of volunteers.
- An altar server is involved in the holiest and most sacred events of Catholic worship by assisting the priest as he prepares the table of the Eucharist for the people of God. Resurrection welcomes adults and children into this ministry.
- The St. Vincent de Paul Ministry provides short-term financial assistance for rent, food, gas, electricity, etc. for our neighbors in need in Bedford and Franklin counties. Volunteers are needed to help screen applicants.
- The Pastoral Care Team provides support, comfort, and prayer to parishioners and their families in times of stress, loss, crisis, or life changing events. Additional team members are needed to provide a listening presence in the strictest confidence.
- A Catechist is a witness to the faith by sharing the Catholic faith with students and guiding them to learn how to apply and live their faith. A Catechist may also prepare individuals for sacraments. At Resurrection there is a need for additional catechists to teach, assist, or substitute.
- RCIA Team Members facilitate the initiation of new members into the Church or someone’s journey back into full communion with our faith community. Volunteers are needed to be a part of the team who assist seekers in our parish.
- Live Stream Operators take turns to set up and monitor the equiment during the live stream. Resurrection live streams the 4:00 pm Sunday Mass. Additional group members are needed to provide coverage.
