Catholic Speed dating in Lansing this coming month! We will have a special guest couple named The Gruber's who host a podcast called
Outpost and give talks and retreats on helping Catholics learn how to date and marry well. They will be our speakers for this dating event and then we will go into the speed dating.
Ladies, consider joining us for this Miriam dinner in E. Lansing at Emmaus house (the white house right across the street from St. John's student center) for dinner and a talk from these Dominican Sisters on Combatting Perfectionism in your Discernment of God's will for your life. Women ages 16-35 are welcome!
Square dancing anyone!? Old St Patrick parish (5671 Whitmore Lake Road, Ann Arbor, MI) will be hosting Square dancing this Saturday Feb 3rd, 7-10pm.
Traditional Square Dance. General public welcome, no experience necessary, all dances will be taught. Couples, singles, and families are all welcome.
Donations collected will benefit the parish. (Just show up and learn to dance!)
Lenten retreat anyone? This retreat is for all young adults between the ages of 18-39 who want to learn about living life sacramentally...seeing the world, work, leisure, meals, etc. through heaven's lens.
Registration is open! March 22-24th
This retreat is based on St. John Paul II's Theology of the Body and it will be held at Maryville retreat center in Holly MI. We will begin the retreat with 5:30pm Mass followed by dinner and the first opening talk on Friday April 19th then all of Saturday up until 3pm we will include: breakfast, lunch, Mass, and conferences on the TOB.
