The Faith Formation & Evangelization Ministry will host a Lenten Retreat on Saturday, February 24. The retreat will be from 12:30 pm to 4:30 pm. Deacon Mike Ellerbrock will present Who Do You Say That I Am?
The retreat will consist of the following:
- Jesus: Images in Art + Scripture
- Jesus: Integrating + Unifying Humanity + Divinity
- Jesus: Alive at Resurrection
Attendees will be able to spend some time with Jesus, to enter ever deeply into the Incarnation, to listen and share insights, and to explore Resurrection’s opportunities for evangelization, ecumenism, synodality, and parish initiatives/leadership.
Deacon Mike is an ordained deacon for the Catholic Diocese of Richmond at St. Mary's Catholic Church in Blacksburg and St. Jude's in Christiansburg and a monthly homilist at Our Lady of Nazareth in Roanoke. He is also a professor of agricultural and applied economics at Virginia Tech.
The Faith Formation & Evangelization Ministry is looking forward to sharing this experience with you. Refreshments will be provided. Remember to bring your Bible, warm heart, and open mind.
