The funeral service of Ann Freeman will be this Friday, March 1st at 1pm here at Holy Cross followed by a reception. All are welcome.

We will not have flowers by the altar during Lent as it is a a time of penance and introspection. It is based on Jesus' 40 days in the desert overcoming temptation.

The St. Gianna Pro-Life Ministry would like to thank our Parish and friends for their generous donations to the Blue Ridge Pregnancy Center Baby Shower.
It was a beautiful celebration of new life and motherhood! With the leftover funds, we were able to make a generous donation to the Pregnancy Center.
All are welcome at the next St. Gianna Pro-life Ministry meeting on Thursday, March 7 at noon. Please bring your own lunch.

HOW can we be a synodal Church in mission?
There will be four weekly sessions in late February and March.
Two options of four sessions:
Monday evenings at 6:30pm (2/26, 3/4,11,18)
Wednesday mornings after Mass and Rosary at 10am (2/28, 3/6, 13, 20)
Wednesday mornings after Mass and Rosary at 10am (2/28, 3/6, 13, 20)

St Paschal Food Pantry

40 Cans for 40 Days!!
During Lent we are collecting cans of food and money donations to feed the hungry as part of our Food for Families Program.
Each parishioner is challenged to bring in 40 cans of food.
(One for each day in Lent)
We will collect cans through Easter.
All donations will be for the Holy Cross food pantry.

are at 4pm and 10pm on Christmas Eve and 10am on Christmas Day.
2021 Jesse Tree Ministry
Elves Delivered! This past week Jesse Tree gifts, food, and even stockings for the younger children, were distributed to 77 households in our area. Families came from our parish community, as well as those referred to us by Interfaith Outreach Association, Lynchburg Social Services, Miriam’s House and McGurk House.
Thanks: Many thanks to all those who made the 2021 Jesse Tree Ministry a success!
We will resume distributing the monthly bags in the Commons the first weekend in February.
