Porters of Saint Joseph
I am glad to inform you that we are beginning a new ministry here in our parish community: The Porters of Saint Joseph. As you may know, there have been over 300 recorded vandalization and attacks on Catholic Churches in the United States over the past two years alone. Named after St. Joseph, the protector of the Holy Family, the Porters of Saint Joseph is a volunteer ministry for men with the mission to provide a safe environment at our Church so our families can worship God in peace and security at Weekend masses. This is the perfect opportunity for men in this parish who have felt the call to get involved while at the same time, forming a bond of Christian brotherhood with like minded men.
I welcome Brian Eaton, Founder of the Porters of St. Joseph to our parish community. Brian will be making a pulpit announcement at Masses this weekend to tell us about the Porters of St. Joseph and to invite those who are interested to sign up. He will be available to answer your questions after the Mass.

Welcome to our Rummage Sale!
I welcome everyone to our Parish Rummage Sale taking place tomorrow, Saturday from 7am-1pm. I thank the organizing team for the excellent job they are doing getting everything ready for the sale. Looking at the number of items donated so far, it looks like this will be one of our biggest rummage sales in years. I thank everyone who is helping and those who donated different items for the sale. Please invite your friends to come and join us tomorrow. Please come, even if you don’t intend to buy anything, come for “window shopping” and you might find at least a book or something to buy.
