News, Prayer Needs, and Announcements
NEWS:
As we continue to see a large influx of children at the gatherings, we are asking members PLEASE DO NOT use the Maren Center doors to enter the building. We know this is an inconvenience, but the SAFETY of the children is a priority. Thank you for understanding.
PRAYER REQUEST:
Doris Martinez suffered a stroke on Tuesday evening. She is in the hospital and recovering well. She is very upbeat, and trusting in God’s plan. Her right arm was affected but her arm motion has improved significantly! Her right hand has not improving as much, and she would like prayers for that. The doctors suspected that her existing stents may have been the cause of her stroke. They performed a procedure on Thursday and found the stents were in good condition. At this point, they are unsure of the root cause of the stroke; please pray the doctors discover the root cause of the stroke. She was in California with her daughter Julie when the stroke occurred, which is quite a blessing. She plans to stay in California with Juile for several weeks to recoup. Friday night update: Doris is home with Julie and feeling great! She is still asking for prayers for her right hand.
Please pray for former City of the Lord member Pam Bergez. A life-threatening cancer has returned, and a final round of chemotherapy is commencing that offers a slim chance of success. She is asking for a miracle but is at peace with God's will. Her family--husband Ron, and children Veronica, Raymond, Vallery and Victoria--thanks you for your intercession.
