OLL News: Thanksgiving Baskets, Senior Citizens, Mary and the Magi
The OLL School 7th graders recently hosted the 2018
Senior Citizens Mass and Luncheon.
It was delightful and we are very appreciative to the students, teachers, parents and staff that made it such a lovely occasion. Thank you!
OLL Thanksgiving Baskets Ministry Event
After the Sunday 11:30 Mass our youth, adults and families gathered to pray and prepare 70 Thanksgiving food baskets to assist those families in need. The majority of the baskets were taken to St Paul's parish in New Bern where they are still struggling with the effects of the hurricane.
Laurie Thornburg, our Thanksgiving ministry coordinator gave of her time and graciously drove to St. Paul parish in New Bern to deliver the much needed help to their community. They were so grateful to our parish community for the outpouring of love and support.
We finished the day with prayer and the breaking of bread (pizza) and giving thanks and gratitude to God for his blessings. by Deacon Byron Champagne
