The Ladies of Charity Book Sale was a huge success! $1,876.65 was raised to help area charities! Thank you to all who purchased and donated books, setup, cleaned up, and took leftover books away to sell and not fill landfills. Holy Cross is a great and caring parish sharing God's love with others."
The last Soup and Stations is this Friday at 6pm! All are welcome!

We will not have flowers by the altar during Lent as it is a a time of penance and introspection. It is based on Jesus' 40 days in the desert overcoming temptation.

Fairways to Heaven
is coming May 10th!!

Our new 8-part study filmed on location in the Holy Land, Mary: A Biblical Walk with the Blessed Mother, places us in the midst of the powerful drama of Mary's earthly life, taking you through her joys … and her sorrows.

Youth
Saturday 06-22-2024 - Friday 06-28-2024
The Diocesan Work Camp is a weeklong camp experience for high school youth to serve our brothers and sisters in need by making their homes safer, warmer, drier, and greener while also having the opportunity to grow in our Catholic faith.
Work Camp is not just a youth event. It is an opportunity for parishes to make a difference in the lives of those in need right here in our diocese while encouraging youth to answer their baptismal call to serve others. It is a transformative experience in the life of the adults who assist as well, whether as a volunteer, contractor, or chaperone.

St Paschal's Food Pantry needs your help with Easter Food Baskets!
Below is the list of needed food items to bring to Holy Cross.
We need your help sorting and packing food bags for families: March 17, 18 and 20th. To sign up to help with a bagging time, click HERE.
Easter Food Basket Delivery
We will meet on Saturday, March 23rd at 9:00am to complete the packing and deliver the food to families at 10am.

St Paschal Food Pantry

40 Cans for 40 Days!!
During Lent we are collecting cans of food and money donations to feed the hungry as part of our Food for Families Program.
Each parishioner is challenged to bring in 40 cans of food.
(One for each day in Lent)
We will collect cans through Easter.
All donations will be for the Holy Cross food pantry.

2021 Jesse Tree Ministry
Elves Delivered! This past week Jesse Tree gifts, food, and even stockings for the younger children, were distributed to 77 households in our area. Families came from our parish community, as well as those referred to us by Interfaith Outreach Association, Lynchburg Social Services, Miriam’s House and McGurk House.
Thanks: Many thanks to all those who made the 2021 Jesse Tree Ministry a success!
We will resume distributing the monthly bags in the Commons the first weekend in February.
