In this holiest of weeks, we encounter the Mysteries at the heart of our faith. Words fail us, but we strive to find words that point us in the right direction.
Like the liturgy (see last week’s log), reading poetry can point us toward the great mysteries....

Youth Bake Sale a Huge Success
We are so grateful for all those who donated a bakery item (or many items). Thank you! Thank you! Your generosity helped raise over $1,000 to help our youth attend summer trips.
We also want to thank those who purchased the baked goods and made a donation. St. Thomas More has many very generous parishioners. Thanks again!
Join Us for Our Palm Sunday Event
It's finally here! Our annual Palm Sunday event after the 10am Mass THIS Sunday, March 24th, in the Fellowship Hall. We will have palm braiding, crafts for the kids and our famous Palm Sunday Sundaes! Stop by for fun, fellowship and a sundae!
Walking with Jesus
Sr. Elise is back for her final session in the 3-part series. Join us next Wednesday, March 27th from 6:15 - 7:30 pm in the Fellowship Hall for In Remembrance: The Last Supper. This session is a great addition to our Holy Week liturgies, as we walk with our Lord through his Passion, death and resurrection. Please make plans to join us next Wednesday. Questions? Tenebrae Service at STM
Join us Good Friday, March 29th at 7:00 pm!
Tenebrae is an ancient Christian service of readings, both Old and New Testament, songs, and reflections on the journey of Jesus to the Cross.
It is different from the “usual” Good Friday service in that there will be no Veneration of the Cross, nor will the Eucharist be celebrated. Instead, the readings will trace the events of Jesus’ passion and death, interspersed with choral music, hymns, and reflection.
Our St Thomas More Adult Choir and lectors from the parish will provide the music and the readings. If you typically miss the Good Friday afternoon service because of work, this Tenebrae Service is a way for you to still observe Good Friday in a reverent and moving way. Christians of all denominations are welcome.

Well, given the response to last week's poll, STM is very divided on peeps! As of Monday afternoon, we had 15 yes votes (between both yes options) and 16 no votes. Good thing peeps only come around a couple times a year. :o)

Start Your Ovens
Our youth are planning a St. Patrick's Day Bake Sale and we need your help! We are in need of a variety of baked goods for the weekend of March 16th & 17th. Whether it's cupcakes, breads, cookies, bars, brownies or some other special treat, we'd love to have your donation to help make our sale a huge success. Donations can be dropped off in the Parish Office by noon on Friday, March 15th, or at the bake sale tables in the gathering area before any Mass that weekend.
