WELCOME TO THIS WEEK'S FLOCKNOTE
Jesus is truly risen, Alleluia!
As Easter dawns, the world embraces the renewal of hope, faith, and love. From the solemn reflections of Good Friday to the joyous celebrations of Easter Sunday, this sacred time marks the triumph of light over darkness, of life over death. It’s a time to rejoice in the promise of resurrection, to cherish the bonds of family and community, and to reflect on the blessings of grace and redemption.
The resurrection of Jesus Christ stands as the cornerstone of our Christian faith, a profound event that transcends time and space. The resurrection serves as a powerful testament to the divine power of love and redemption, demonstrating that even in our darkest moments, there is the promise of new beginnings and eternal life.
Through his resurrection, Jesus not only conquered death but also affirmed his identity as the Son of God, fulfilling prophecies and validating his teachings. His victory over the grave offers believers a profound sense of reassurance and hope, inspiring us and countless generations to embrace the message of salvation and transformation.
Moreover, the resurrection serves as a catalyst for spiritual renewal and personal growth, inviting us to experience the transformative power of faith and forgiveness. It is a reminder that no matter how far we may stray or how deep our wounds may be, there is always the possibility of renewal and restoration through the grace of God.
Ultimately, the resurrection of Jesus Christ is a testament to the unfathomable depth of divine love and the enduring power of faith. It challenges us to live lives guided by love, compassion, and hope, knowing that through Christ, we are eternally redeemed and beloved in the eyes of God.
Happy Easter to you and your families!

SEASON OF LENT
Good Friday is a day of Fast & Abstinence. All Catholics ages 18-59 are to observe fasting and those 14 and older are to abstain from meat on those days.
Penitential Discipline: Penance is an important requirement of the Christian life. Fulfillment of this duty involves prayer, works of piety and charity, self-denial and fulfilling our obligations more faithfully. Every Friday of the year, especially during Lent, is a penitential day.
