Dear Parents,
I hope your Spring Break was rejuvenating! It was truly uplifting to welcome back our students to campus. We missed them dearly and look forward to returning to our regular school routine before Easter Break.
We invite you to join us for our annual Family Stations of the Cross TONIGHT in the courtyard at 6 PM. Our dedicated SJB families have graciously volunteered to read Station reflections, making this a deeply meaningful experience for all. Following Stations, we will gather for a delicious Fish Fry, fostering fellowship and community spirit. SJB's Family Stations offer a unique opportunity for students and parents to fulfill service hours and to unite in prayer and reflection as we enter Holy Week.

I also invite everyone to attend a special presentation of "The Passion of Christ" by our 6th grade on Thursday at 9 AM in the MPR. Afterwards, all homeroom classes will take part in their Lenten Retreat, then Easter Break begins at 12:30 PM. School will resume on Tuesday, April 2nd, and the next Bulldog Bite will be emailed on Friday, April 5th.
I pray you have a joyful Easter filled with love and precious moments with your loved ones. May this sacred occasion bring renewed faith and blessings to each of you.

ALL Parents Invited!
Parenting in the digital age can be a daunting task. Keeping up with the newest apps, video games, and how to monitor, supervise, and keep children safe is an extra layer of parenting that many parents struggle with. In this interactive session, parents will take a deep dive with Katey McPherson into the life of kids raised in the digital age. We'll tackle the physical and mental health impacts of screen time, social media, and gaming, how to manage consumption of suitable content, and how you can learn alongside your child in a tandem effort to share the responsibility of safety and wellness to build trust and confidence in your relationship and communication.

Got Music?
SJB Music Director Dr. Luis Rodriguez has reimagined the tradition of a Spring Music Concert. Parents and families are cordially invited to join us on Wednesday, April 10 @ 2 PM in the MPR.
Although not as complex as the Christmas Program, this concert will showcase skills students experience in music class such as singing in foreign languages, playing instruments, and exploring music from other cultures. Jr. high students who play instruments will also be featured. Please join us!

Early Re-Enrollment
Thursday, April 25
Free dress day for early re-enrollment is Thursday, April 25. This "thank-you privilege" is for families who re-enrolled before February 26 and have PAID their re-enrollment fees. Homeroom teachers will be given lists of students who qualify on April 22.
Please remember that your re-enrollment fees are scheduled to be paid on April 1.
If you are not on Auto Pay for Incidentals, you must log in to your FACTS account to initiate a manual payment.

Most applications for Tax Credit financial assistance are now open! If you plan to use Tax Credit Funds next year, please note that most applications are due April 15. See a list of STO scholarship organizations HERE.

If you plan to use the Empowerment Scholarship Account (ESA), please check your email regularly to renew your contract or check the ESA website regularly to find out when new applications for the 2024-2025 school year will be available. If you used ESA this year, you do not need to create a new application.
If you have an incoming kindergartener, please contact Kelly McLean to discuss the best options for financial assistance.
**VERY IMPORTANT**
If you have used ESA this year, but have "Recommended Funds" at an STO, you MUST have an application in for the 2023-2024 school year in order to retain your funds for future years!!!

It's time to submit your quarterly statement for the Fry's Community Rewards Program. Simply log into your account on frys.com, click on "My Account," scroll down to the Community Rewards section, and click on "View Community Rewards."
Print out that page or screenshot it and either drop it off in the office or email it to sjbscrip@sjbosco.org.
Earnings reset each quarter and you are unable to view previous quarters once it resets, so please be sure to submit your earnings before next quarter.
If you still need to enroll in the Fry's Community Rewards program, click here for detailed instructions on how to link your shopper's card to SJB.
**Year-end Scrip reports will be sent home in early April. This statement will show how much you earned for the 2023-2024 Scrip year.

Join us every Friday of Lent @ 6 PM at the St. John Bosco School courtyard for Stations of the Cross, followed by a Fish Fry in the MPR. Dinner includes two portions of delicious fish, coleslaw, cornbread, chips, dessert, and water for $10 per person.
