As Catholic people, we gather to celebrate the great mystery of our faith, the events by which we have been granted salvation in and through Christ. We invite you to join us, to celebrate and to remember the unity we share in Christ.
The schedule for tonight, Holy Thursday, was spelled out in yesterday's note; Eucharistic prelude 6:30 pm; Mass at 7:00 pm and Eucharistic Adoration until Midnight. We hope you can join us!
Good Friday - March 29th
Solemn Liturgy: 12:00 pm and 3:00 pm
*No Confession times
This day as a Christian people, we commemorate the death of the Lord. We proclaim the Lord's Passion from the Gospel of John and we pray the ancient prayers. The Church mourns, and yet with the solemn veneration of the cross, anticipates the hope and joy of Christ's triumphant resurrection. We distribute the Eucharist in a simple communion rite. We leave in silence as the Church mourns the death of the Lord. The death of the Lord is both our shame and our hope.
Our parish will take up the Annual Good Friday collection for the Holy Land. Your financial contribution helps to suppor the struggling Christian community in the Holy Land and helps to protect Christianity's holiest places.
Holy Saturday - March 30th
Easter Vigil Mass at 8:30 pm
*No Confession Times
On Holy Saturday, the Church waits by the Lord's tomb, meditating on His suffering and death. The night on which Christ rose from the dead marks the climax of human religious history. This is the night of Christian Passover; we hear the stories of our salvation and celebrate when Christ passed from death to the glory of the resurrection; it is the most important moment in the life of the Church.
The Catechumens and those entering into full communion with the Catholic Church are baptized, confirmed and received into the Catholic Church.
We, as God's people, recall when we passed from death to a new life by a baptismal bath and rose with Christ to new life.
Bring your own small container for Holy Water to this Mass to take home newly blessed Easter Water.

Mt 28:5b-6
