Msgr. Peter Vaccari, (President CNEWA & Pontifical Mission) is looking for possible dates this Spring for a visit to the Archdioceses of San Francisco to let the people know about the mission of CNEWA (Catholic Near East Association and Pontifical Mission) as an agency of healing and hope in today’s often broken world, especially where Eastern Catholic lives. He can also discuss how wars are impacting the ancient Eastern Christian Churches.
New – March Content from the National Catholic Bioethics Center for Parishes to Navigate Ethical Issues
The Archdiocese of San Francisco has partnered with the National Catholic Bioethics Center (NCBC) to help pastors and their parishioners navigate ethical issues associated with health care, end of life care, abortion, contraception, gender ideology, physician-assisted suicide and euthanasia, and other topics. As part of this Archdiocesan Parish Partnership Program, the NCBC provides a monthly newsletter that features helpful content for use in parish bulletins and in other promotional channels.

Attention: Parish Managers/Administrators Regarding Catholic San Francisco Magazine

To Increase Catholic San Francisco (CSF) Readership with parishioners, the circulation team for Catholic San Francisco magazine will be sending 15 copies of the magazine to each parish and will address the magazines to the parish manager/administrator. With the permission of the pastor, we ask that parish managers/administrators include these 15 copies in the church vestibule for interested parishioners. If demand is high, we can send more copies. If demand is low, we can stop sending the copies based on parish feedback. We will rely on our parish contacts to help us gauge interest in the magazine, which features many parish and school milestones and activities. There are seven issues of the magazine published each year with the following general themes:

February: Archdiocesan Annual Appeal / Lent
April: Easter
June: Graduation / Summer
September: Back to School
