Holy Thursday Mass & Adoration
· Evening Mass of the Lord’s Supper (BILINGUAL) in HN Church at 7 p.m.
· Eucharistic Adoration at the Altar of Repose in SPN Church and HN Church
from 8 p.m.-12 midnight.
As the Apostles accompanied Jesus in the Garden of Gethsemane before His arrest, all parishioners are invited to pray before the Blessed Sacrament in St. Philip Neri or Holy Name Church sometime between 8 p.m. and midnight.
Good Friday Fasting & Abstinence from Meat
Those between the ages of 18 and 59 must fast on Good Friday. This consists of one full meal and two smaller meals during the day, without snacks. If persons cannot do this for health reasons, they are exempt. Those 14 and older are required to refrain from eating meat on Good Friday.
Good Friday Liturgies & Devotions
There is NO Exposition of the Blessed Sacrament on Good Friday, nor are there any Masses on Good Friday, but Holy Communion will be distributed during the Celebration of the Passion of the Lord liturgies.
· Stations of the Cross (ENGLISH) in SPN Church at 12 noon
· Celebration of the Passion of the Lord (ENGLISH) in SPN Church at 3 p.m.
· Outdoor Living Stations of the Cross (SPANISH) at HN Church at 6 p.m.
· Celebration of the Passion of the Lord (SPANISH) in HN Church at 7 p.m.
Please note: There will not be Stations of the Cross at St. Philip Neri Church at
2:30 p.m.
