ADORERS NEEDED for Saturday, April 6th

The Young Adult Legion of Mary has a tradition of offering overnight Adoration every first Friday for the priests and deacons of the parish. Would you be willing to help, and spend an hour with our Lord, from either 4:00-5:00am or 5:00-6:00am on Saturday morning? Just answer the survey question below, and your name and email will then be shared with the Legion of Mary Adoration Coordinator, who will reach out to you with more information. Coordinator Needed for P3

Do you desire to use your time and talents to serve our young adult community?
We are looking for 1-2 coordinators for our monthly P3: Pray, Penance, and Pub event. A brief description of what the coordinator does is shared below. If you are interested after reading through the descriptions, please answer "Yes" to the survey question at the bottom. You will then be reached out to via email with more information about the coordinator position.

P3 Coordinator Responsibilities: P3 is the second Friday of the month, 7:00-8:00pm in the main church.

- Reach out to the deacon one week prior to P3 to coordinate help with Adoration

- Show up 15 min before 7pm to meet with priest and make sure church is set up for Adoration (candles, etc.),

- Coordinate location for group to meet up after Adoration and communicate location in WhatsApp group

- Be a welcoming and engaging presence to all who come to P3!

Help Needed!

Please consider donating your time and talents for the upcoming parish festival! Volunteers are needed to help with the outdoor rides on Saturday, April 27th from 11:45am-5:15pm. Shifts would be two hours long. At least one volunteer would be needed per hour shift but two would be preferred. Duties would include collecting tickets and assisting staff with other tasks as needed. There will be pony rides, rock climbing, and air jumper and a moonbounce!If you are interested in helping out, please email Abigail at jmjhomesteading33@gmail.com with your name, number, and time slot you wish to fill. All Saints Young Adult Ministry is organizing an outing to see the touring world premiere of "The Chronicles of Narnia: Prince Caspian" at the Museum of the Bible! Prince Caspian continues the story of the four Pevensie children, who discovered the land of Narnia after walking through a magical wardrobe in the first book of the series, The Lion, the Witch, and the Wardrobe, and now return to the land of Narnia to help the rightful king and heir, Prince Caspian, take the throne! By going together as a group, tickets would be discounted from $70 to $52, and the group could be seated together at the theater. The show is also family friendly, if you would like to bring your kids!

BISHOP BURBIDGE INVITES ALL CATHOLICS TO BEGIN A NATIONWIDE RESPECT-LIFE PRAYER EFFORT, STARTING ON MARCH 25, 2024

Bishop Michael Burbidge is inviting all Catholics to participate in a nationwide prayer effort for the end of abortion, and the protection of women and pre-born children. Catholics are asked to invoke the intercession of Saint Joseph, Defender of Life, and offer a specific prayer daily, beginning on March 25, the eve of U.S. Supreme Court oral arguments in a case that has the potential to make a major impact in the widespread accessibility of chemical abortion (abortion pills), through June, when a decision is expected. We know that we are called to be saints. We know that holiness is important. But how does the life of holiness line up with living our everyday life in the world? In this talk, Sr. Emily Beata draws on Scripture, Church documents, and her own experience to show how holiness in everyday life is not as complicated as we think.

Join us at our NEW LOCATION, Old Towne Sports Pub, in Manassas for an evening of fellowship, socializing, and Sr. Emily's talk. The talk will take place in the Side Room of the restaurant. Drinks and a full food menu will be available for purchase.
