Celebrate Earth Day with the Sisters of Saint Joseph of Philadelphia. Join them at 3 PM in the Mount St. Joseph Convent Auditorium at 9701 Germantown Ave. for a presentation by Dan Misleh, founder of Catholic Climate
Covenant.
Dan will speak about the stakes of our inattention to the climate crisis, impacts on the poor and future generations, practical solutions and new attitudes, new theology to get us out of this crisis outlining what our faith calls us to do, focusing on integral ecology and integral human development.

The Wissahickon Environmental Center will hold its first annual Wild Wissahickon festival from Friday, April 26, through Monday, April 29. This free event celebrates the biodiversity of Wissahickon Valley Park. Locations include the Tree House, Houston Meadow, Valley Green, Carpenter’s Woods, and Andorra Meadow. The festival’s main day will be on Saturday, April 27, from 9:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. at Northwestern Avenue and Forbidden Drive. It will feature activity and information tables and identification stations for birds, reptiles and amphibians, fungi, aquatic life, and insects.
