Go Marathon
This Saturday, April 27th, the St. Louis Go Marathon will take place and will significantly impact the Cathedral Basilica. The start time for the Marathon in downtown St. Louis is 7:00 a.m., and part of the planned route will close down Newstead from Forest Park to Maryland and Maryland Ave from Newstead to Kingshighway. Some cross traffic may be permitted when runners are not present.
For the Cathedral Basilica, access to the back parking lot will be only through the alley for the 8 am Mass. I have included a map from the St. Louis Go Marathon that details the route impacting the Cathedral Basilica and the Central West End.
