Sorry, I am not in a good habit of getting these out to you every Friday. I will try to do better!
We had a good week last week! Our reading story and supportive stories were all nonfiction stories about professional athletes and their trials and tribulations to get to where they are today. We read about Michael Jordan (basketball), Tiger Woods (golf), Michelle Kwan (figure skating) and David Beckham (soccer). Everyone enjoyed reading about real-life people! We finished up our first Science kit on Structures of Life. Hopefully your kids have been asking you quiz questions about numbers of bones in our bodies...and telling you all about the owl pellets they searched through! Pretty cool! Next week we will be completing and testing on multiplication. Our next chapter is using all they know and tricks they have learned and putting them to work in continuing multiplication...patterns, unknown factors...
Thank you for the snack last week Noah! Starting tomorrow it is Kenzie's turn!
I will not be here Friday. I will be attending a training in Ottumwa that day.
Hope everyone had a great weekend and ready to be back tomorrow!
