Many thanks for the bracelet that was presented today at mass in honor of National Day of Appreciation for Catholic School Principals. Interestingly enough one of the charms on the bracelet reads, "behind a great school is an awesome principal" and what is should really say is behind a great school is awesome kids and parents like you. I am truly blessed to be part of such an amazing place that not only where I get to work, but where I can call home. It has been a pleasure getting to know all of you and to see the many gifts you share with our school community.
Thank you for thinking of me and more importantly, thank you for partnering with me as we make St. Matthew Elementary the best it can be while developing well-rounded, responsible, faith-filled students. I am truly the lucky one and say many prayers of thanks that this is where God has led my path to be. This bracelet will be a constant reminder of how lucky I am and how thankful I am for all of you. Just a friendly reminder that tomorrow is a SPIRIT DAY as we cheer on our Xavier Saints football team in the 3A State Championship game! Game time is 7 PM at the UNI-Dome in Cedar Falls, see you there!
