Hello Kindergarten families,
Its hard to believe that we are already half way through November!
We are learned the following in our different subject areas this week:
Reading: We read a story about kite flying and talked about the correct order that the book happened in. We reviewed the sight words that we have learned so far; I, like, the, and and.
Math- We wrapped up our chapter four unit this week and reviewed for our math test on Monday. We have been working on the number ten and comparing it to other numbers that we have learned so far.
Social Studies- This week we began our new social studies unit that focuses on the history of me. If you have have not filled out the family interview and sent the artifacts back please do so as soon as possible so the students are able to share them with their friends during the unit. Thank you so much to everyone who has sent them back so far! I have enjoyed looking at their baby pictures!
In other news:- Thank you Nathan for bringing snack this week. I am in charge of snack for next week.
- Thank you to all the families for coming to conferences! I enjoyed getting a chance to share all the great things that your students have been doing in the classroom!
- Wednesday is an early out for the start of Thanksgiving break.
- There is no school on Thursday, November 22nd, Friday,November 23rd, and Monday, November 26th.
