Please join us for Mass on Thanksgiving morning, Thursday, November 22 at 9 am. Join us in bringing a non-perishable food item that will be donated to the food pantry.
Walking With Purpose next session of Coffee Connect is November 27th at 10 am or 6:30 pm. All women are welcome to join us and see what Walking With Purpose is all about.

Have questions about the Catholic faith, scriptures, the Saints? Adults Seeking Knowledge is the answer for you. Our next session is Wednesday, November 28th at 7 pm. All questions will be answered by Fr. Dave or Tina in 2 minutes or less.
The next Beloved is Saturday, December 1st at 6 pm. Couples are encouraged to attend this fun, faith-filled evening of dinner and a movie. Childcare is offered at this event.
Advent Reconciliation
On December 5th at 7 pm, we will have our Advent Reconciliation with Adoration and Praise and Worship music.No Mass will be held this evening. It will also be 1st reconciliation for our children. Please come and praise God with us!SIGHTS AND SOUNDS OF CHRISTMAS
The annual musical, walking tour of Newark Downtown Churches will be Thursday, December 6, 2018 at 6:00 PM. All proceeds go to The Food Pantry Network of Licking County. Come and enjoy the sounds of the season ending at St. Francis with our Parish Choir performing and a cookie reception following in the Lamy Center. Tickets are $5.00. Children under 12 are free. The Feast of the Immaculate Conception
St. Francis de Sales will celebrate this Holy Day of Obligation with a Vigil Mass and community Consecration at 6:30 pm on Friday, December 7 (there will be no 9:00 am Mass that day.) and 9:00 am Mass on Saturday, December 8.
Please note: These services do not fulfill your regular Sunday obligation.
CALLING ALL BAKERS
The annual Women of St. Francis “Before Christmas bake sale” will be held on Saturday, December 8, 9 am-2 pm (open to the public) and following the 5 pm Saturday Mass & Sunday morning Masses. To be successful, we need LOTS of baked goods. St. Francis bakers are the best, so we are calling upon all the bakers in the parish. St Vincent De Paul Housing Facilities is a part of the Society of St. Vincent De Paul, a catholic lay organization focused on transforming our member’s lives through service to the poor. We are looking for two self-motivated, service oriented, hard-working, and mission-driven individuals who will put big love into the little things of life. The preschool is in need of more substitute teachers assistants. Requirements are:1. Completed Protecting God’s Children.
2. FBI and BCI completed.
3. High school diploma a must; Associate or Bachelor’s degree preferred.
