- With the Knights of Columbus scheduled Baby Bottle Turn-In Weekend behind us, we still are short a number of Baby Bottles which haven’t been turned in. If you still plan on donating to the ABBA Center, Please turn in your bottle(s) by November 30, 2018. Thank you for your thoughtfulness, and your donation.
- The Christmas Fair will be at Sacred Heart, Saturday Dec. 1, 9am-2pm. Come support our fair & don’t forget to bring a friend! Hot lobster stew will be waiting.
- Two Holy Hours offered during adoration at Holy Martyrs. Begins Monday November 25: 12pm Holy Hour for Priests; 3pm Holy Hour for the Sick & Dying. Contact Elizabeth (847.6890)

The Catholic Church designates the four weeks before Christmas as Advent, a time to “prepare the way of the Lord” for His coming as our King and Savior at Christmas. By celebrating the liturgy of Advent each year, we call to mind this ancient expectancy of the Messiah. By participating in various time-honored traditions and rituals, Catholic families can engage more fully in the seasons of Advent and Christmas. Kits include:- 4 candles

Join a Small Faith-Sharing Group this Advent
Are you part of a small faith sharing group? You may be sitting there wondering how you could possibly juggle yet another commitment. The answer is this: personal discovery, deeper friendships, discipleship within your larger community, and growing a connection to your faith. Here's the kicker: the theology taught and begun at the pulpit becomes fleshed out in conversation and action. When we find ways to wrestle with our faith in small groups, it can be messy, but oh so fruitful.Enjoy the new beginning of Advent Season by signing up (or creating) a small faith group. This season in our small groups, we will be exploring "Opening the Word" hosted on formed.org. Each group has guided journaling, short videos, and most importantly, prompted discussion questions. These methods of reflection will help you uncover the new hope, salvation, joy, and peace of the season! Join us in thanking God for the cycles and seasons of our liturgical year.
