It is very clear that the cold has decided to come to Chicago to stay! We hope you are staying warm and safe. Along with gloomy clouds, you may be noticing that the nights are getting longer and days shorter. Its a reason for us to be of good cheer and to light up the way for one another.
We see it in our our Jewish friends and neighbors who have begun the season of Hanukkah, us Catholics march week by week with candles for Advent, and it seems everyone is putting up Christmas lights. All of these lights help dispel the dreariness of these long, cold nights. Through the lights we put up, we anticipate the coming of the true light into the world - Jesus Christ.

We want to highlight and show our thanks to the 45 donors (and counting) who supported our Giving Tuesday campaign "Christmas on the Corner." Thanks to their generosity, we are excited to place a new outdoor nativity on the corner of Addison and Paulina in the coming weeks. Be on the look out for it!
