Please remember to pray for Bishop Morlino as we commend him to the Father tomorrow at his funeral Mass. Relatedly, please remember that there will be NO 12:10 DAILY MASS ON TUESDAY, DECEMBER 4TH. This will ensure that all of our priests and deacons can attend Bishop Morlino's funeral. Thank you for understanding!
While there is sorrow at the passing of our dear Bishop, there is much to rejoice over at this time, especially the ordination to the transitional diaconate of Bill Van Wagner, son of our parishioners Chris & Peggy Van Wagner. Bill will be ordained this Friday, December 7th, at St. Paul's University Catholic Center, and then assist at the altar and preach for the first time at the 5:00 pm Vigil Mass at St. Patrick this Saturday, December 8th. Additionally, Sunday, December 9th, will feature some more deacons exercising their preaching ministry. Deacon Steve Brunner, who discerned his priestly vocation at the Cathedral Parish, will be preaching at the 9 am and 11 am Masses, and Deacon Chris Schmelzer will be preaching at the 5 pm Mass. Please pray for all our deacons and priests, that they will lead all whom they encounter to a deeper knowledge and love of the Lord Jesus!
