Dear Parents,
We are getting nearer and nearer to Christmas and I hope you and your families are excited about this holy day reserved for inspiring peace and joy within us.
There is only one assignment due for Religious Education before Christmas. It is chapter 15 (which is about Christmas). I invite you to complete it whenever is most convenient over the next few weeks. Our next parent & child session is not until Sunday, January 6, 2019. (unless you are coming to the Advent Speaker Series or to the Parent Make Up session tomorrow night, Thursday, December 13, 2019.)
In the parent packages that I sent home with you. All grades except the 7th grade received information for Chapters 10 (Advent) and Chapter 15 (Christmas). While the expectation is only for you to have a conversation with your child over one of the chapters, I gave you both knowing that both are valuable. If you would choose to complete the online review for both chapters, I have included both in the links below

More than one parent commented to me after this weekend’s parent session that they really enjoyed the video from this past Sunday’s class from The Bible Project. I like the production company that puts their material together. I haven’t viewed all of their work so I can’t give a full voiced endorsement of them, but you can find more about them at https://thebibleproject.com/
Also below is the video that we watched. You may want to watch it again or show it to your child(ren).
