Our second grade class did a fabulous job singing at the Christmas program, not to mention they were on their best behavior backstage! I was so proud of them and it was so much fun to watch!
Our class Christmas party will be held from 10:30 to 11:30 next Friday morning the 21st. Thanks in advance to everyone who has signed up to help.
A very Happy Birthday to Kale and Bennett! Kale brought snacks and birthday treats this week and Bennett brought his birthday treats last week. Many thanks to both. Bennett is on our regular snack list for the upcoming week Dec. 17th -21st.
In Math we are continuing work on 2 digit addition with regrouping and adding 3 to 4 numbers in our ones and tens place value columns. We will finish Officer Buckle and Gloria next week with a Reading/Spelling test on Tuesday. We are reviewing alphabetical order, in addition to cause and effect. During science this week we explored what air can do. Next week they will explore how a parachute uses air. Please let me know if you have any questions and have a warm wonderful weekend!
