Hello, Everyone!
Once upon a time...
A few stories have been told this week.
What? There really was a time when we couldn't turn on lights, a TV, a radio or even books?! What did children & people do in the evening to have fun?
They told each other stories!
We turned off the lights, built a campfire & and heard the story of Goldilocks & the Three Bears . It was a good story to start our journey into a long time ago.
Reading buddies read Folk Tales & Fairy Tales to us on Tuesday.
And Elizabeth built another campfire & told one of her favorite stories, too.
What could you do with a pie server, potato masher, pizza cutter, lemon juicer or whisk? You stamp with them, of course! What fun!
There were plenty of silly socks to look at on Thursday. And since everyone had one shoe off we played a game of shoe salad! Nobody came home with a mismatched pair of shoes, did they?
As always it 's great to sing with Mrs. Tinnes.
Fluoride Varnish went well, too! Nobody was scared to have his/her teeth checked.
Thank you so much for all the birthday & 1/2 birthday treats & snacks! Celebrations in January will come to a halt after Brady's 1/2 birthday on Monday!
Empty boxes will still be accepted! Thank you!
My plan is to challenge this group: What can you do or play with an empty old box?
As you can see: Tales & stories from long ago continue next week.
On Thursday children may (no, they don't have to!) come dressed in PJ's. Grown -ups are invited to spend some time ( 10 -11:00) with us reading a favorite book to our class. Children are encouraged to bring a book from home to share that day!
Mrs. Mac & I are looking forward to more fun in learning with your child!
