Catholic Schools Week Lunch Reservation Form
Parents, guardians, grandparents, and special friends are invited to join us for lunch during Catholic Schools Week 2019. Please see the form below for more information. If you'd like to have hot lunch with your student you must submit the reservation form (below) by Tuesday, January 22nd. Reservations will NOT be accepted after this date as the Lunch Program needs an accurate count for ordering for our guests. Lunches The cost for lunch is $4 per guest and must be sent in with your reservation form. If you would like to join your student(s) and bring your own lunch, please remember we do not allow fast food (Subway, McDonalds, etc) in the cafeteria. We look forward to serving you during Catholic Schools Week!

This year’s St. Matthew Madi Gras event will be held at Elmcrest Country Club on Saturday, March 2, 2019 from 6:00 PM to Midnight. The event will include a Live and Silent Auction, Raffle and Cajun Cash, Pick-A-Pack and Pick-A-Cork, and more! All profits will go toward various projects to beautify the St. Matthew Community.

As we quickly approach Catholic Schools Week and as we feverishly work on planning for 2019-2020, I would encourage you to share your St. Matthew story with all those in the community you meet. You never know who might be looking for a change or needing something new. The more we can share the wonderful happenings of St. Matthew, the more our community will be aware of who we are!Catholic Schools Week is a great time to start spreading the good news of St. Matthew Elementary!

Essentials Team Highlight
A lot has been going on in the Art room lately. We started to do snow themed work and finally got some outside too...you are welcome! We have been working hard on the class Mardi Gras artwork projects...these will be a must see at the even in a few weeks! We have an English student from Mount Mercy sharing ideas and experiencing an American art class.The 5th grade got to do some art using coding on the computer to make it, they were very cool so ask them about it! And as a reminder, Art Club starts back up this coming week and we are all very excited!--Mrs. M
