Grocery Collection for Coast Guard Families- Due by Wednesday, January 30th
Leading up to Catholic Schools Week, St. Patrick's will be holding a school-wide grocery collection for Staten Island Coast Guard families who are going without paychecks due to the recent government shutdown. The Staten Island Giving Circle, who is organizing everything behind the scenes with the Coast Guard, has communicated that there is a real need for these grocery items for these families - we know St. Patrick's families will respond in kind!
Each grade is assigned a type of product (see flyer below) - if you'd like to participate, even if your grade is not listed, please have your child bring the donations to their classroom. Please feel free to share this with family and friends who might like to donate these items as well - just stick to the items mentioned on the list. All items should be in school by
Wednesday, Jan 30th.On Friday, 2/1 the 4th and 5th grade classes will team up to sort and package the groceries for the Coast Guard families. Staten Island Giving Circle will pick them up for delivery.
If there are any parents who might like to volunteer to assist with the packaging session
on Friday, 2/1, please contact Tara Kelly at

Thank you in advance for your kindness and generosity!
