(from Choose Grace: 3 minute devotionals for Women, 2017, Barbour Publishing, Inc.)
All this comes from the God who settled the relationship between us and him, and then called us to settle our relationship with each other. 2 Corinthians 5:18 (MSG)
God created a bridge to span the distance between ourselves and Him. That bridge is Christ, the best and fullest expression of divine grace. Because of Christ, we are in a relationship with the Creator of the entire world. And because of Christ, we are called to build bridges of our own, to span the distance between ourselves and others.
Jesus there is no way I could bridge the chasm between God and myself. Your sacrifice draws me near to the Father. May my life be a reflection of my gratitude. Amen
