Holy Saturday is the day Christ's body was in the tomb. It is a day of waiting for the Lord's Resurrection. As you wait today, think about the past 40 days - today is the last of the 40 day Lenten observation. How was your Lent this year? Did you spend these past 40 days strengthening your relationship with Christ? Christ died for our salvation. He continued to teach his disciples after his resurrection before his glorious ascension into heaven. He promised to be always with us and with his Church. Plan to walk humbly with him the 50 days of Easter and always.
Join us for the Easter Vigil Mass with readings from salvation history and rejoice as we bring our newest members into the Holy Church through Baptism, Confirmation and the Eucharist tonight with candles, water, joyful song and great spiritual hope. The Vigil starts with the Service of Light at 7:30PM in front of the church.
LENTEN CHALLENGE OF THE DAY:
Read and meditate on a Gospel passage telling of Christ's Resurrection.
