Psalms for the Soul: The Joy of Repentance
Lenten Morning of Reflection
Saturday, March 16, 8:30-Noon
Join Fr Ed White this Lent to prayerfully reflect on The Seven Penitential Psalms (Psalms 6, 32, 38, 51, 102, 130, 143)During times when we wish to express repentance and especially during Lent, it is customary to pray these penitential psalms, designated as such from the seventh century. Prayerfully reciting these psalms will help us to recognize our sinfulness, express our sorrow and ask for God’s forgiveness. Fr. Ed will guide us through a morning of prayer and reflection based on the Commentary by St. John Fisher.
8:30 Mass (Optional but encouraged!)
9:30-Noon Prayer and Reflection in the Church

Men's Conference Comes to St Stephen the Martyr
7th Annual Seattle Catholic Men's Conference March 30th!Attention Men: Do you want to be the man that God has always called you to be? These along with engaging worship and inspiring fellowship with hundreds of fellow Catholic men will make this a day to remember! Social Hall Update
* Moisture testing was completed on Mar. 6th - this testing measures the RH (relative humidity) of the concrete base that the new floor will be installed over. We expect to get the results next week. Most concrete bases in this area will have some moisture but the amount will affect the way the new flooring will be installed and can affect the timeline on installation projections.* Abatement started on Mar. 7th - involves removal of tiles and mastic (tile glue). Then the concrete floor is neutralized, which will be necessary prior to the installation of the new flooring product. This process is expected to last 10 – 12 business days. During this time, the area is completely sealed and air scrubbers are in place to contain the materials. There is no danger to the people in the rest of the building. Please follow any caution notices.
* Inspection after abatement is conducted by Ed Foster of the Property & Construction department of the Archdiocese. The abatement company has been working with the Archdiocese for the past 12 years.
* Drywall - installed after the Abatement Inspection has been completed. This could take 5 – 7 business days.
* Coffee & Donuts - taking place in the Narthex following the Sunday morning Masses. Pause and connect with the community! If you get a donut (or coffee), remember to put money in the can — it covers the cost and donates to the ministry of the week.
* Sunday evening Youth Programs (5th-12th grade) – Relocation of classes means; Life Teen & Edge Snacks are now held in the Narthex. Please support our volunteers by giving them space to prepare & serve food. The snacks are provided by youth ministry, and are only for teen participants. If you’re in 5th through12th grade, we invite you to join Sunday programs!

Preparations Begin for Living Stations of the Cross
Attentions Teens: You are invited to be a part of this year's production of the Living Stations of the Cross! Don't miss this chance to live the Gospel story in a dramatic way!
