Let me encourage you to join us for a read through the Bible beginning April 1.
To read through requires reading three chapters a day plus one psalm. After the Book of Psalms is completed (Day 150, about half way through the year), we go down to just the three chapters a day. In the last month (March), it drops off to two and then just one for the last week.
We read from different places in the Bible at the same time. We begin in Genesis, Isaiah, Psalms, and Matthew. On the site, I post reading schedules to follow, and even personal check-off schedules that you can print. I will print some to distribute, as well.
The group is on Facebook, and you need to have a Facebook username to join. If you don’t have a username, it’s very easy to create. You only need a valid email.
Click here to sign up for Facebook.
Once you create a username, or if you already have one,
click here to request to join the Bible Readers group. I will approve you!

I don’t know how many of you have noticed, but there are interesting articles posted on our Facebook page on a regular basis. Thank you Caleb Dunlap for making it happen!

Let me remind you about the two-hour challenge, which many of you accepted last week. Before the end of March, find a clean, two-hour slot on your schedule without interruptions to spend time alone in the quiet with the Lord, reflecting on his names.
I already have a testimony from someone who has done it! This will be a very powerful spiritual experience, I promise! Take nothing with you into your prayer time for this other and pen/pencil and paper (to write down what God tells you), and a list of the names of God. I have a list of his names
here that you are welcome to use. I have also printed out this list, and you will find them on the prayer table at the rear of the sanctuary.

A friendly reminder that for all who signed up to sing in the Easter choir, the first rehearsal is tomorrow morning, Saturday, March 15, 10:00 at The Ridge.
Please listen to the songs that are attached to the email from Garret before the rehearsal. Even though you may be familiar with them, some of them are done in a little different format. Your preparation ahead of time will make the entire rehearsal go smoother!

Please remember to give toward your faith promise. We all made monthly pledges, and you can pay it in any increments you would like. Eileen and I have always paid monthly toward ours.
Please use the envelopes to designate which part of your giving is tithe, which is missions, and any other specific giving that you would like to specify. There are envelopes in the lobby on the main table.
If there are any issues, questions, or problems with giving your faith promise, please do not hesitate to ask me. You can also designate your missions giving through EasyTithe.

This past Wednesday evening I began coaching session for discipleship. There were several people who could not attend the first session, so I will repeat it this week again.
So if you did not get on board the first week, we’re redoing it, so you can still get in. we meet at The Ridge at 7:00 pm. We will go to the second session on the following Wednesday evening (March 20).
