ALLELUIA, ALLELUIA, ALLELUIA
Alleluia is a cry of Joy.
Alleluia is the prayer of someone who has found a lost loved one.
Alleluia is the gasp of amazement which one shouts in the face of a miracle.
Alleluia is the prayer that unites the women who went to the tomb to anoint the body of a dead rabbi and found themselves anointed with the oil of gladness.
Alleluia is the common prayer of the Apostles who knew they had let their teacher down by their words and actions and now have the relief of knowing that all his predictions of resurrection were absolutely true.
Alleluia is the song of our catechumens who have the sacramental life of baptism poured into them at baptism
Alleluia is the canticle of the faithful who in the breaking of the bread find it to be the Bread of Life.
Alleluia is the twirling, wheeling, dancing, surging, exuberance of the ones who have the fire of the Holy Spirit filling them with the gifts which they need to be missionaries of the Word to the ends of the world.
Alleluia is the only prayer we need for Easter!!

ALLELUIA, ALLELUIA, ALLELUIA
