Pictures for the New Directory are being taken NOW!

If you have not scheduled your family picture, do so now by calling April Smith at 316-807-3476 or the parish office at 943-4353 or by sceduling your photography session online using this link. You can also sign up after Mass this weekend. Next week is the last days pictures will be taken. If you have a picture you would like to submit to be added to the directory, we can do that for a $10 fee. Electronic copies are best for submitted pictures. Please contact Robyn at the parish office regarding submitting pictures.

In November of 2016, the United States Conference of Catholic Bishops (USCCB) released a pastoral response to pornography, called Create in Me a Clean Heart. The intention of writing this document was to:

offer healing and hope to those who have been wounded by pornography;
articulate the Catholic Church’s response to the pastoral crisis brought about by the production and use of pornography; and
raise awareness of its pervasiveness and harms.

Why? Because pornography is hurting many people, including marriages and families, single people, priests and religious, and even children. It hurts the healthy process of vocational discernment for our young people. Pornography use impacts the relationships of children with their parents, husbands with their wives (and vice versa), the pastor with his community, and most importantly, our relationship with our Lord.

In the back of the church this weekend, there will be resources for you to assist with striving for healthy and holy marriages and families, including how to talk to your children about internet dangers.

Man Fully Alive Conference

Men, do you recognize the current crisis in our Church and country, but don’t know how to respond? Do you feel that as a Catholic man you are not experiencing the promises of your faith to the full? Join Bishop Kemme and hundreds of men from across the Diocese at the Man Fully Alive Conference, this Saturday, March 30th from 8:00am – 4:00pm at Kapaun-Mt. Carmel High School in Wichita to listen to some of the most respected national Catholic men’s speakers show us how to become men fully alive in this modern world. Adoration, Confession, and Mass will all be offered. The cost is $39 ($19 for college students) which includes lunch. Couples Adoration with Father Ben

Join us April 13th at 6:30 PM in the church for Couples Adoration lead by Fr. Ben. This is a great way to grow with your spouse. Married and engaged couples are invited to join us. Stewardship in Action

Most weeks, Mrs. Gillenwater's 5th grade students fold our bulletins and add any inserts. Thank you, young stewards, you are greatly appreciated!

Miss Pascal's Literacy Escape Room

Fourth graders were divided into 3 groups and presented with four different reading or language challenges in order to be the first to escape “Emoji Island.” When students started doing too much work in a group, they were “kidnapped” and taken to the emoji ship. All three teams made it off the island!

Mrs. Moritz' first grade students love spending time in the Atrium.
