Parish Lenten Service Project - Saturday, April 6th
Join us on Saturday, April 6th as we package 10,000 meals with Rise Against Hunger’s meal packaging program. We will set-up up an assembly-line in the parish hall and package 10,000 nutritious dehydrated meals comprised of rice, soy, vegetables, and 23 essential vitamins and minerals. Come and participate in a hands-on international hunger relief program and to become educated, engaged advocates for the world’s hungry.
Volunteers needed for:
- 1:00 PM - 2:00 PM to assist with setting up the assembly lines in the parish hall, carrying in large bags of food (must be able to lift 50 pounds) and assist with the meal packaging.
- 2:00 PM - 4:00 PM to assist with the meal packaging
