Our Blessing Cup, St. Mary's new apostolate for vocations, will begin on Mother’s Day, May 12th, “World Day of Prayer for Vocations.” Together we will pray for our priests, seminarians, and all religious, supporting all vocations and encouraging young men and women in our parish to answer the Call to priesthood or religious life. Singles, couples or families may sign up to bring a consecrated Chalice (known as Our Blessing Cup) home for a week. Our Blessing Cup will hold a place of honor in the home as a reminder to pray for this special intention of the Church. It is our responsibility as members of Christ's Church to pray for vocations as the Second Vatican Council reminded us. This apostolate will begin on the weekend of May 11th and 12th through the weekend of June 1st and 2nd. If you are interested in taking the Blessing Cup home for a week, please respond to this email and indicate the date and Mass you attend and you will receive a confirmation email. If you are interested in finding out more about vocations to the priesthood in the diocese of Worcester please click on the vocations graphic above.
At the Easter Vigil five people were fully initiated into the sacramental life of the Church. From left to right: Dam, Christopher, Eric and his children Maddeilyn and Dominic. Congratulations! May God bless all of you!

Formed.org is launching a new book club for the month of May, "From Fire by Water" by Sohrab Ahmari. You may access the book club by clicking on the book below.
Sohrab Ahmari was a teenager living under the Iranian ayatollahs when he decided that there is no God. Nearly two decades later, he would be received into the Roman Catholic Church. In From Fire, by Water, he recounts this unlikely passage, from the strident Marxism and atheism of a youth misspent on both sides of the Atlantic to a moral and spiritual awakening prompted by the Mass. At once a young intellectual’s finely crafted self-portrait and a life story at the intersection of the great ideas and events of our time, the book marks the debut of a compelling new Catholic voice.
