Hello, Everyone!
This week is going by to quickly!
Egg # 2 was decorated in two steps.
Mrs. Mac read a story to the group, while Elisabeth & I helped one child at a time dye an egg on a stick in a color of choice.
The following day a few drops of oil were swirled through the dye - the colored egg was rolled through this mixture and ... the egg looked marbled!
Everyone was very careful with their egg. This group is ready to decorate egg # 3!
It was a great time at the Public Library today!
Of course children enjoyed seeing their own art. They were a bit surprised to see other children's artwork there, too. Linda Soukup & Shelly Lawson had us singing & swinging, clapping & shaking eggs along to music with their interactive program. What a great way to celebrate the young child !
It was wonderful to have several parents & grandparents join us. Thank you, Kim, Jane, Deb, Janice, Phil, Benice, Leticia and Taryn! I hope you enjoyed yourself on this outing with your child or grandchild.
Aside from singing with Mrs. Tinnes tomorrow, this group will get to see a performance of Silly Sally, presented by the 4 year olds. We can't wait!
The Public Health Nurse will stop by this Friday also. It's time for a Fluoride treatment. That will happen after music & play.
Please, check your child's backpack! Lesson plans for the next two weeks are in there.
Yes, preschool will be held on Wednesday, April 17 and April 24!
And another free book for your enjoyment. - Thanks to some very generous sponsors & Mrs. Love - Smith for making this happen!
Looking ahead: The subject of learning week of April 22 is "Taking care of Earth".
Sorting trash is one of the activities on our list of things to do.I need to enlist your help with this! We will accept clean donations of paper, plastic, cardboard & metal on Thursday, April 18 or Monday, April 22. THANK YOU!
Thank you for all the snacks brought this week!
Mrs. Mac & I are looking forward to more fun in learning with your child!
