Making Music, Praying Twice SPRING Registration Time to register for our spring session, Easter-Pentecost! This fun, early-childhood movement, singing & faith-filled class especially for babies, toddlers, preschoolers & their caregivers begins May 2 & 3! You and your child will be exposed to the richness of our Catholic faith through song, sung prayer, instrument play and creative movement. For children 0-5. Classes take place at Holy Martyrs Church in Falmouth on Thursdays at 10:15 am & Fridays at 12:15 pm. 1 CD included with tuition.

FPU includes your member workbook and a free year of Financial Peace Membership, with online tools created to support your journey.
Our parish is offering a spring session of FPU classes which meet for 9 consecutive weeks, beginning Tuesday, April 30, 6:30pm at Holy Martyrs.
Concert admission is $10 for adults, free to anyone under 18. Tickets may be purchased at the door.
The Greater Freeport Community Chorus will present “Missa Kenya and Songs Inspired by Africa” at Sacred Heart on May 5.
The 75-voice chorus will perform at 2:30 p.m. Sunday, May 5, at Sacred Heart Church, 326 Main St., Yarmouth.The group is directed by Virgil Bozeman IV and accompanied by pianist Kellie Moody.
The centerpiece of the concert will be the five-movement “Missa Kenya,” a setting of Mass texts. American composer Paul Basler wrote the piece after he spent a sabbatical year at a Nairobi, Kenya, university. He writes in the forward to the composition that it fuses Kenyan musical styles with 20th century American classical styles. He describes it as his “gift to the warm, loving friends I left behind in Nairobi.”

During this time we were given a new challenge as a Knights of Columbus Council in sponsoring or supporting a number of NEW Programs which Supreme rolled out to each and every council in the Order.
