Maundy Thursday
Today is the day of the year when we remember Jesus' Last Supper, the washing of the disciple's feet, the giving of the New Commandment, Judas' betrayal, and Jesus' night of agony in the garden which culminated in his arrest.
Our observance of this day will be at 7PM, where we will gather in the Parish Hall with our friends from St John on the Mountain. Like the Last Supper, we will share in the Eucharistic Bread and Wine in the context of an actual meal. We will wash each others feet. And we will sit in silence as the Altar is stripped.
Because of the participatory, "hands-on," nature of this service, this is a GREAT service to bring children to.
