Gospel Reflection

“Jesus said to them again, ‘Peace be with you. As the Father has sent me, so I send you.’” (John 20:21)  Peace – the first gift of the risen Lord. Just as Jesus sent the apostles out into the world, so too, He sends us. As disciples of Jesus, we are called to be grateful and generous. Look for opportunities to share His peace, not only within our local parish boundaries, but outside of them as well. In giving, we receive the peace of Jesus Christ.

Easter Vigil

At last week’s Easter Vigil we welcomed the following adults into the Catholic Church and St. Mary’s Parish:

• Jared Dalpe – Baptism, Confirmation & Eucharist
• John French – Baptism, Confirmation & Eucharist
• Jennifer Yates – Reception into the Church, Confirmation & Eucharist.

In addition John & Jennifer’s two young sons – Lucas and Elias – were baptized

33 Days to Morning Glory Retreat

Saint John Paul II understood that true devotion to Mary is Christocentric, and also a pathway to becoming a saint. Join us in a 33 Days to Morning Glory retreat. We will start this Sunday evening, April 28th, and meet on subsequent Sunday evenings (May 5th, 12th, 19th, and 26th). On Friday, May 31st we will have one final meeting to say our consecration prayer together. This retreat involves short daily readings. You do not have to attend all of the meetings, and the books will be provided free of charge.
