We wanted parents to be aware of a safety drill that Newark Catholic High School is holding in partnership with Newark Police and Fire this Wednesday. From 11:30 a.m. to 3 p.m., Green Wave Drive and Church Street from Green Wave to 26th Street will be closed for this drill. This is impacting traffic flow at McGuffey Elementary and Wilson Middle School, and we have sent separate calls to those parents.
We wanted to make sure everyone else knew about the drill, as you will likely see a number of police cars and fire trucks near those schools Wednesday afternoon.
