Hello, Everyone!
Celebrating with friends is fun. & somewhat bittersweet..it's just hard to believe that our preschool is ending soon!
I believe the Spring Program was a nice way to celebrate our little school & every student's achievements & progress this past school year. Thank you, Mrs. Tinnes, for sharing your gift of music & teaching us some fun songs!
Art work & journals were sent home today. If you did not take things yourself, be sure to check backpacks! One more surprise is waiting to be wrapped ...& super bugs are waiting to fly or crawl into little hands & bags.
Cap Day, Pocket Day, Pajama Day, Flip -Flop Day, Crazy Shirt Day...some were more fun than others. Monday started of a bit sleepy...only 5 caps showed up.
Pocket Day seemed to get the most attention. Grady & Grayson held the records with 9 & 8 pockets respectively! All together there were 74 pockets in the classroom on Tuesday! Pajama Day was a hit, too.
Flip -Flops aren't for everyone. But a few friends came to school wearing them.
Now, who doesn't have a crazy shirt? Several walzed in the door on Friday! Some even glowed in the dark!!
Thank you for all the yummy snacks brought this week - and throughout the year!
This little group is always hungry at snack time!
Everyone will be engaged ( I hope!) making ice cream on Monday!
And Mr. Grayson will bring the last snack of the year on Tuesday!
Speaking of Monday: The plan is to spend time outside celebrating a fun year of growing & learning together! Weather permitting!! Please, pray for sunshine!
The day will start off making ice cream. While it cures in the freezer, children & partaking grown-ups will play outside..blowing bubbles, play with sidewalk chalk, balls, make "beautiful noise" as the kitchen band, play on the playground...
Our invitation still stands - any adult brave enough is welcome to spend time with us Monday morning!
Please remember: A lot of time will be spent outside.
Apply sunscreen to or send sunscreen with your child on Monday! Sunglasses & a cap/hat may be a good idea also. Thank you!
Elisabet Brown, a senior in High School, spent her last quarter helping in our classroom. It was great to have an additional set of eyes, ears & helping hands to join in play & assist with end of year projects. We wish her the very best as she continues on her journey of learning! Thank you , Elisabeth!
Mrs. Mac & I are looking forward to more fun in learning with your child!
