Need a Job for the Summer?
One of our parishioners needs a baby sitter for two kids, ages 1-years-old and 3-years-old. Teens, this will be a summer-long babysitting job. Please shoot me an email if you are interested.
Bible Study
This summer we will have Word Wide Open, our bible study program, on Wednesdays at 6:30 PM - 8:00 PM. The first summer meeting for Word Wide Open is June 19th.
We'll be working out of a guide titled
Scriptural Apologetics by Focus Ministries. The cost of the student guide book is $2.99, please have a copy when you come to Word Wide Open.
This new study focuses more on scripture compared to our last apologetics study. The objective is for teens to become familiar with scripture and see first hand where in scripture you can find Church teaching.

Soccer Saturdays
Parents and teens, Christopher's pastoral year is coming to a close, and he will be leaving us after VBS. Please tell him goodbye and wish him luck as he continues on his formation to become a priest!
Even though Christopher is leaving us, I would like to keep soccer going as an activity at our church, but I need your help to make that happen! To open up availability for volunteers, I've moved soccer to Saturdays starting Saturday, June 22, 2019.
I need a volunteer who wants to dedicate his/or her time to maintaining and leading this activity. If you're interested in volunteering to be the Soccer Saturday Leader, please shoot me an email. I'll be there as much as I can; however, I need help to make sure this program stays in place. Parents, this program requires you to help keep it in place.

Life Teen & Edge
Over the summer, youth ministry will be hosting Saturday night social events for both Edge and Life Teen. The Saturday dates are as follows:
June 29
- 6:30 PM - 8:30 PM, Bonfire on the fields
- 6:30 PM - 8:30 PM, Board Games Night in the PLC
- 6:30 - 9:00 PM, Movie Night in the PLC
- 6:30 PM - 8:30 PM, Board Games Night in the PLC
Off-Campus Trips
Please note, your teen will be responsible for transportation to these events, i.e., carpool with another teen, etc. They are also responsible for paying their way for the activities and any food they may want to purchase.
Saturday, June 29 - Kayaking on the Augusta Canal
- Location: Savannah Rapids Park, 3300 Evans to Locks Rd, Martinez, GA 30907

- Paddle Route: The Historic Augusta Canal down to the Lake Olmstead boat ramp where the kayak rental company will meet us.
- Things to consider:
- Look at the price for the shuttle and the kayak – you will have to pay your way for this event
- You must register online via the Youth Ministry website in order to be included in the kayaks reserved for our group

- Fill out the rental waiver ahead of time because it needs a parent’s signature
- Pack sunscreen and other items you will need.

There will be a parent and teen meeting July 7th, Sunday, following the 5:00 PM mass.

Unfortunately, we are unable to attend this event this year as a group. However, if you're interested, teens can experience this awesome mission without their youth ministry.
